Tweeload is a free online tool that lets you download videos and GIFs from Twitter (X). Paste a tweet URL, pick a quality, and save the file. That's it.
We built Tweeload because downloading media from Twitter shouldn't require installing sketchy apps or navigating ad-filled websites. The tool works directly in your browser on any device.
You copy the URL of a tweet that contains a video or GIF, paste it into Tweeload, and hit download. We fetch the available video qualities from Twitter's servers and give you direct download links. No accounts, no sign-ups, no watermarks.
Tweeload works in any modern browser. We also have native apps for Android and iOS, plus a Chrome extension if you'd rather not leave Twitter at all.
Tweeload is made by Aculix Technologies LLP. We also build tools like Pinload (Pinterest downloads), Viddit (Reddit downloads), and a few others. We like making small, focused tools that do one thing well.
We're not affiliated with Twitter or X Corp. We don't host any videos on our servers. When you download something through Tweeload, it comes directly from Twitter's CDN to your device. All content belongs to whoever created it.
If you're downloading someone else's video to repost it, be respectful. Credit the original creator.
